Course FAQ
-
No, I want to help you learn how to take your own reference photo and how to create your own painting, not copy one of mine. I want to help you find your own voice.
-
No, this is not an interactive course. There is no live zoom connection involved. However, you can choose to purchase a version of the course which includes a personal, private, written critique of your painting for an additional fee of $50.

Yes! This is a self-paced course designed for maximum flexibility. You can start and stop as desired and take breaks in the middle if you need them. Some people save the whole course for their holidays.

Perhaps not yet. The course is designed for intermediate artists, not absolute beginners. Participants should have experience with basic watercolour techniques, such as simple washes and painting wet-on-wet. If you’re just starting out in watercolour some classes with a “live” teacher is always a good idea. My course is available whenever you feel ready.

Yes, but I don’t use videos to guide you through a painting of mine each week. The videos are not progressive sequences of the same painting. Most are videos of me painting and sharing various techniques and processes. They are not professionally made, some of them are students videoing me while I’m teaching. But most students still really enjoy them.
